All text processing happens entirely on your device using a local AI model. Your documents are never uploaded to any server, and no data is shared with third parties.

On-device processing

Lacuna runs a local large language model directly on your Mac's Apple Silicon chip. After the initial one-time model download, the app works completely offline. No internet connection is required for document processing.
